Content Policy
We respect the content that visitor’s choose to share. However, there are some boundaries on the type of content that can be posted on the Quit Tobacco—Make Everyone Proud Web site. The boundaries we've defined are those that both comply with legal requirements and that serve to enhance the quit blog area. Content published in the quit blogs is solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the content. Content posted on the Quit Tobacco—Make Everyone Proud site must comply with all aspects of our content policy. We reserve the right to edit and/or remove any content that violates our content policy.
Content Policy: Our content policies play an important role in maintaining the experience for users. Please carefully review and follow these guidelines.
Military Content: Do not post content and/or photographs containing critical information, sensitive information, experiences in the combat zone, operational security, or any other content that is military related. Please consult an immediate supervisor and/or Operational Security (OPSEC) officer if you are not aware of OPSEC guidelines.
Political Statements: Do not post statements about the current administration, the Department of Defense, and TRICARE.
Pornography and Obscenity: Image and video content that contains nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise deemed explicit by Google should be kept private.
Hateful Content: Users may not publish material that promotes hate toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.
Violent Content: Users may not publish direct threats of violence against any person or group of people.
Copyright: It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Private and Confidential Information: We do not allow the unauthorized publishing of private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, and driver's and other license numbers.
Impersonation: We do not allow impersonation of others through our services in a manner that is intended to mislead or confuse others.
Unlawful Use of Services: Our blog service should not be used for unlawful purposes or for promotion of dangerous and illegal activities. We reserve the right to monitor all entries, remove inappropriate material, and if necessary, report such instances to the authorities.
Spam, Malicious Codes and Viruses: We do not allow spamming or transmitting malware and viruses.
