The Wisconsin Department of Health Services joined the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center in examining air quality in 200 bars and restaurants before and after a statewide smoking ban. Air quality, which was previously unhealthy, improved 92 percent after the Wisconsin ban went into effect more than five months ago.
