Death Meter Helping Japanese Kick Smoking Habit

Japanese smokers are learning that for help with smoking cessation they can check a reminder of the death rate on their iPod screen. The game software and graphics developer created a free software application to help smokers approximate their longevity based on their age, the number of cigarettes they smoke each day, and how many years they have been smoking.
