Air Force Bans Electronic Cigarettes From the Workplace
9/1/2010

Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Charles B. Green, the Air Force surgeon general, stated in a memo last week that e-cigarettes are tobacco products and prohibited their use in most Air Force facilities. Last month the Marine Corps Base at Quantico banned them in their facilities. The products are battery-operated devices containing a nicotine-filled cartridge. Neither the Army and Air Force Exchange Service nor the Navy Exchange sells electronic cigarettes of any type.
