Wisconsin officials are pleased that high school and middle school students throughout the state appear to be refraining from smoking and heeding the warnings about the dangers to their health. A tobacco smoke-free coalition spokesperson stated that adults are in large part to blame for smoking behaviors among youth who smoke, because they look to older role models, especially parents, for guidance.
