Effective July 2010, Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA will enforce a tobacco-free hiring policy for all new employees, prohibiting the hospital system from offering employment to any tobacco user. GMC has long been a tobacco-free campus, prohibiting employees from smoking on hospital grounds.
