Contrary to popular belief, pressures of work can actually lower a smoker's nicotine dependence. A new study, published in the journal Tobacco Induced Diseases, indicates that employees who experience stress at work are likely to smoke less than they otherwise would and therefore have a lower dependence on nicotine.
