Anti-smoking Laws Cutting Hospital Admissions

Hospitals in Toronto, Canada are reporting a one-third drop in the number of patients with heart and respiratory problems since the city introduced strict antismoking laws nearly a decade ago. There has also been a 17 percent decrease in hospitalizations stemming from heart attacks.
