A new study found that Latino parents with an asthmatic child were more likely to quit smoking when they received a culturally-tailored intervention that also provided feedback about their children's secondhand smoke exposure. Two nicotine monitors placed in the home for one week provided readings that were converted into cigarette equivalents for exposure.
