The number of soldiers suffering from oral cancer has increased fourfold in the U.S. Army in 10 years. Like many other public places, smoking is banned in military installations of the U.S. Army. Soldiers have switched over to chewing tobacco, which in turn raises the incidence rate for oral cancer.
