A "Grizzly" Mistake: Cambodian Mothers-to-be Reach for Chewing Tobacco for Morning Sickness

Cambodian expectant mothers use chewing tobacco to manage symptoms of morning sickness, a behavior passed on by older women. The World Health Organization(WHO) warns that many of these women become addicted to chewing tobacco. Not only is the addiction a terrible problem, but WHO also has major concerns for the potential health problems for the mother and the baby as well.
