Efforts to discourage tobacco use and help troops quit around the DoD in general, and at the Misawa Air Base and Camp Zama in Japan, in particular, are described in this Stars and Stripes article. Military-wide efforts include this Web-based campaign “Quit Tobacco—Make Everyone Proud.”
