AppleCare warranties are being voided if the computer is exposued to secondhand smoke. Customers have been denied warranty repairs to their MacBook and iMac by Apple, despite both having extended AppleCare warranties. The machines were exposed to secondhand smoke, and Apple claims that the nicotine released from cigarettes is classified as a bio-hazard by the Operational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
