Smoking Cessation Cuts Healthcare Costs, Study Says

The National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH) reports that smoking-prevention programs are one of the most cost-effective ways for employers to cut their healthcare costs. A total of 80 percent of health plans are incorporating counseling and the use of FDA-approved medication with positive results.
