Study Finds Second-Hand Smoking Results in Liver Disease

University of California researchers have determined that even secondhand tobacco smoke exposure can result in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a common disease and rising cause of chronic liver injury. Fat buildup in the liver leads to eventual liver dysfunction.
