Small Amount Of Smoking Increases Risk Of Cardiovascular Disease

According to a study by the American Heart Association, smoking up to three cigarettes a day increases the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 65 percent. The study also shows that people exposed to secondhand smoke have 20 to 30 percent higher risk of death from cardiovascular disease compared to those who breathe smoke-free air.
