A Pennsylvania judge has ruled that ads published in Rolling Stone magazine for Camel cigarettes violated the 1998 nationwide tobacco settlement by featuring cartoon images. R.J. Reynolds must pay a $302,000 fine or run a full-page antismoking ad in copies of Rolling Stone circulated in Pennsylvania.
