Study Links Smoking to Most Male Cancer Deaths, Not Just Those From Lung Cancer

A new study links smoking to a much greater percentage of deaths among males from all types cancer including lung cancer. This suggests that increased tobacco control efforts could save more lives than previously estimated. National Center for Health Statistics data were used to compare death rates from lung cancer to death rates from all other cancers among Massachusetts males.
