Alzheimer's Risk Upped in Senior Smokers

Results of two dozen studies in the United Kingdom reveal that older adults who smoke may face an elevated risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. When the results of studies were pooled, current smokers had a 79 percent higher risk of an Alzheimer's diagnosis.
