Researchers at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Ohio found that boys with asthma who are exposed to higher levels of tobacco smoke at home are more likely to have behavioral problems. Specific issues linked to exposure were behavior problems such as hyperactivity, aggression, and conduct disorders. The boys were also more likely to have internalized behaviors, such as anxiety and depression.
