A Minnesota state smoking survey found that high school girls aren't smoking as much, but their male classmates continue to smoke. Only 19.1 percent of high-schoolers smoked cigarettes in the month before their surveys, down from 32.4 percent in 2000. Similarly, only 3.4 percent of middle-schoolers reported smoking cigarettes in the previous 30 days, down from 9.1 in 2000.
