If current rates remain unchanged, smoking could kill more than a billion people in this century, according to the World Health Organization. A dozen reasons to quit include greater risk for diabetes, infection, memory loss or dementia, erectile dysfunction, wrinkles, early menopause, blurred vision or blindness, osteoporosis, digestive diseases, and cancers.
