Hookahs Can Cause Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Hookahs, or water pipes, are often viewed as a less dangerous way of using tobacco than smoking cigarettes. However, their risks are becoming clearer. The tobacco smoke in a hookah pipe contains high levels of cancer-causing chemicals and regular hookah use may lead to long-term health problems from increased carbon monoxide levels.
