Lackland Medical Campus Becomes Tobacco Free

In line with the Air Force Surgeon General's tobacco policy, the 59th Medical Wing campus became tobacco free on Jan. 1, 2012. The change which abolished all designated smoking areas and use of tobacco products reflects concerns about tobacco's effects on health, fitness, and mission readiness.
