Baseball Contract Limits Tobacco Use
11/23/2011

An agreement between Major League Baseball and the players union will limit players' use of smokeless tobacco. The deal does not ban the use of smokeless tobacco during games. However, players will not use it during pregame or postgame interviews and at team functions. Nor will they carry tobacco containers in their pockets when fans are allowed in the ballpark.
