Smoking Tied to Worse Prostate Cancer Survival

Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health found that males who are smokers when they receive a prostate cancer diagnosis have significantly worse survival and a greater risk of biochemical recurrence. The link between smoking and prostate cancer progression, which has been suggested by previous studies, is biologically plausible.
