Retailers in Yakima County, Washington are selling too many tobacco products to minors. According to the American Lung Association (ALA), retailers attained a dismal 71 percent compliance rate in 2008 compared to 87 percent in 2007. In response to Yakima County retailers' poor compliance, the ALA will conduct 180 educational site visits over the next year.
