Effective June 1, 2001, Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and all its branch clinics will implement a new tobacco use policy for all staff members, patients, and visitors. There will be no tobacco use while in uniform or while on duty for all Navy Medicine personnel, no tobacco use or evidence of tobacco use while in the presence of patients, and no tobacco use while on travel in support of Navy Medicine.
