A new study indicates that breathing secondhand smoke could increase a child's risk of mental and behavioral disorders. Boys who were exposed to secondhand smoke were more likely to show symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD, depression, anxiety, and conduct disorder. Girls who were exposed had more symptoms of ADHD and anxiety.
