BJOG Release: Passive Smoking Linked To Lower Birth Weight And Stillbirth

A new Canadian study finds that women exposed to passive smoking were more than twice as likely to have a stillbirth or a baby with bacterial sepsis. The exposure also increased the chances of smaller head circumference, lower birth rate, and preterm birth less than 37 and 34 weeks of gestation.
