New York City's most recent public antismoking campaign includes images of a man with emphysema coughing and wheezing painfully and a woman in bed convalescing from a stroke, while a family member attends to her. The City's Health Department says the Spanish and English videos and posters are aimed at showing how smoking-related illnesses can decrease quality of life.
